Black Liquid Flyer

Client: Hip Hop artist Black Liquid

What We Did: 8.5"x11" flyer

Project Details: This flyer was created for the Hip Hop artist known as Black Liquid. It was reproduced in Black and White ink on low grade copy machines so we thought it would be best to keep the design to solid black and white shapes. Rather than using any grayscale photographic imagery, we decided to go with the “splatter” technique which we knew would reproduce well and thought worked with the title of the show “Liquid St8 of Mind”.  A profile shape of Black Liquid’s head can be seen in the splatters. The flyer was double sided and when folded, could carry a promotional CD. (WOFTD = Watch Out For The Devil – a favorite saying of this artist.)
